they will, but i ordered the J&M braided lines from ws6store at the same time i bought then kit, i think they were like 70 bucks more. and the cutting of the spindle is nothing. easy job with a hacksaw. or even easier with a sawzall and metal cutting blade takes no time at all to cut that little ear off

If you want a tried true and tested bracket that's gone through the most R&D and don't want to take any more risks then I would look up if you can still get the "trackbrackets". They were the original C5 kit I believe. After that a lot of companies started to make their own version.
The originals, which I think were Bob Bishop brackets to start with and then eventually named "trackbrackets", and now I believe may go under a different name... went through an evolution of a few different models. They really tested them out good so that they hold up well in road racing applications.
If you don't care to pay a little more to get a quality product, I'd go this route. It's not that much more really compared to other brackets.
Now the question is.. who sells them?

I have UMI's brackets, which I think are very similar, if not identical, to the old track brackets.
I previously had the LG brackets which don't require cutting the spindle, but you have to use the F-body pad bracket.
I like the UMI's better, cutting the ear off the spindle was a quick job, and doesn't bother me in the least. Nice product.
