Default ? on manual brakes

doing a 68 camaro ls6/4l60 car has aftermarket power disk front brakes , just got all c5 brakes with kore3 brackets was thinking of going to manual brakes to clean up fire wall. does any one use manual brakes on street car that will be a driver? and opinions if i should or should not do it? thanks kevin

I don't think anyone still today would use a brake system without power assist.
Unless you had powerful legs and even then I would not think one would want the extra distance it would yield.
They do make power units that use dual assist and are smaller in diameter so they don't take up all that much room and look better.

Are you going to use this as a show car? If not, you'd be taking a big step back in technology and safety to achieve the look.

If you get the master sized properly the only reason for power assist is if your a girl.
