Spring Question
I just replaced the shocks and springs in the rear of my Z28 because I have a Ton of miles on the springs. I bought a Low Mileage set of rear springs off of a 2002 WS6. When I stood them next to each other my old springs were about 1/2" shorter. Did they use lower springs in 1998 than 2002, or are they just worn out? I would not think that the overall length would change as they wear but would just get less stiff.
Original spring TTH 22077420

This is a good question... when I pulled my stock springs off the rear of my 93 I also had another pair of stock springs from another F body.. not lowering springs, just stock. My springs were easily 1/2-1" shorter.

OK I just read 10 pages of stuff on sagging springs. lol
In my Service Manual there is a Chart for Trim Height Spec's for 2 different options F41 & FE2 there are measurements for A, J, Z, B, K, and D but there is no Picture of a car showing where these Points are on the car. Anyone have any Ideas where the pic is or where these correspond to.
