Default suspension help

just wanted some info from you guys/gals who have already done suspension work on your cars. I just got my 99 z28 about a month ago and i want to add a couple of parts to my suspension, also this is my daily driver. I was thinking about going for for some hals 12 point shocks but i'm still not sure of what kinda of springs to get, i was thinking about the eibach lowering springs but i dont know how they would work with the shocks. and eventually i plan on getting a sfc, stb, and a torque arm. any info would be appreciated, thanx

You really don't need any special aftermarket springs for your car. Just take the stock springs off and remove one coil from each front spring, and 1 1/4 coils from each rear spring. Use a fiber cut-off wheel to avoid over heating the steel in the spings which can cause them to loose their temper. A 15 dollar die grinder will do the trick if you have air.

As for the shocks, the Hals are fine for drag racing, but if you want corner handling get Koni's.
