The answer is no, not without relocating the calipers.

Search for C-5 front brake conversion. You will need to take a sawz-all and cut the lower caliper 'ear' off your TA spindles, there is no going back after that, get relocation brackets, C-5 rotors and C-5 calipers. The relocation brackets move the caliper out farther so the rotors will fit.

And then you will need 17 inch wheels in order to clear the rotors.

Not in that order. You can put the calipers on now. You need C5 brackets to fit the larger rotor.

Actually, you can upgrade to vette rotors and still use the fbody calipers (with the relocation bracket, of course). The fbody and C5 calipers are the same exact size, iirc, but are just cast differently and the C5's have the cooling fins, of course.

better off going to a nice aftermarket brake system since you will have to go through the trouble anyway. The c5 calipers are only 2 piston and the backs are 1.

A set of quality brake pads (not autozone specials) along with C5 rotors (1" bigger than LS1 fbody brakes in diameter) will be a significant improvement over stock form and will only be a few hundred bucks and you can get replacement parts at any auto parts store. Big brake kits cost about $1,200 on the bottom end and require specialty/order (and more expensive) parts.

If you're going to be doing road racing or the like, maybe a big brake upgrade is a good fit, but chances are a well set-up C5 conversion will probably not even be used to it's full potential by most drivers.
