A full coil can be up to two inches. I usually recommend to cut a quarter coil at a time.

I cut one coil, gave me about a 1" drop, maybe a little more. I also did the heater hose mod in the rear since my car sat way too high in the rear. It's got the perfect stance now, looks just like a car on Strano springs.

If going down this road, I suggest looking for the thread that JasonWW made in the past. He put more research into it. Aka how much length coil cut = how much of a drop.

I'd still recommend lowering springs because its a more ideal springrate in my opinion you will end up with compared to what you'd get with cut stock springs. Either that or try to setup your suspension for drag racing since looking at your sig, it appears that's what your going for.

Hotchkis and BMR both sell just the front springs. Then you could hose mod the rear.
