Default Offest axle issue

Hey everyone, I know its a Mustang related question, but it is lsx swapped so I thought I would ask here since this is the forum I use.

I have a 87 Notch and the Rear end seems to be offset in the car about 1". The tire sticks out on the driverside and is tucked on the passanger so it is causing some rubbing issues.

The car has never been wrecked, Has stock upper control rms and tubular lowers. Im curious if anyone know why the axle is like this. Could the stock axle bushings be shot?

Let me know some ideas.

Thanks,

Dustin

Probably, the quadralink's upper arms are too short, and it's called quadrabind for a reason. I wouldn't doubt the bushings are all chewed up on the uppers. The uppers do a crappy job locating the axle as it is when they are in good shape.

There are options to add a PHB or a watts, you could at the same time move to a torque arm and ditch the uppers.
