Default c5 to stock brakes

My car currently has c5 brakes on the front. I want to run 15s with skinnies. Thinking about going to a wrecking yard and getting stock brake parts. Do all 98-02 fodies have the same brakes? Will ones from a v6 car work also what parts will i need to steal?

most c5 kits required a spindle modification to fit them onto an fbody...so if that was done then you'll need a spindle for each side...i think LG is the only bracket that didn't require spindle mod on the fbody for C5 BBK.

you check on ebay, sometimes you'll get lucky and find everything...spindles, calipers, and abutment brackets...you can use your current brake lines and move the hub assembly over to the new (used) spindles...

hope this helps.

Not sure if the stock 98-02 brakes will clear 15" wheels (I thought 16" were needed).

All 98-02 fbods (V6/V8) did have the same brakes.
