So i have a first gen set of ctsv calipers (4 piston/ 2 piston) and c6 z06 rotors to do an upgrade on my c5 vette. I get the car up on jack stands and pull on of the wheel off, undo the caliper and rotor and stick the new stuff on and the mounting bracket bolt for my car will not bolt in the mounting hole on the ctsv caliper. The bolt is slightly larger than the hole on the V caliper. I was under the impression the this was a direct bolt in kit. Am I wrong?

Its a direct bolt on for camaros, trans ams and I think G8s but not for corvettes.

ur brakes are fine why u wanted the conversion?! and for the direct bolt on yeah its only for f body lucky us.
cuz when we used to use the c5 conversion we needed bracket for he bolts -~
