Default Replacing just the tie rods on a steering rack?

Both of the tie rods on my Bird (1998) are bent. The rack is in good working condition still. My question is: Can JUST the tie rods be swapped between racks or do you have to swap out the whoile rack? Any information on this would be great, thanks.

Great, thanks a lot...One more question:

If I have a rack from a V8 (14.1) and the tie rods from a V6 (16.9) will there be any problems with this?

Thanks,
Andrew
