Default Rear bolt size

So lets just say that on my way home today, a caliper bracket bolt decided to disappear...besides the rage of effects from this, im looking for information on the bolt. Its the rear caliper bracket bolt that bolts to the spindle/wheel hub? Not quite sure what its called...Ive done some reading and thinks its M12x1.75 35mm? Just would like some clarification on this if possible before I go track one down...is it 10.9 grade?...what makes these come loose? It is possible I had a bad day during install but damn, ******* sucks it happened
98 trans am FYI

Had one of those fall off on my friends 91 z28 while driving one day. Was not good. The caliper scraped up the rim and when we stopped it made some sort of ridge on the inside of the rim, locking up the wheel. It was a bad night lol
