Default Car lowered now rear end is quiet?!?

I bought this 2000 T/A with 54K, rear end was always was noisy. Had a friend (ASE Master Tech) go through it and drop in 3.42's. After that the clatter was replaced by kind of a drone. Well this weekend I threw on BMR springs and Koni SA's. The Koni's need some adjusting as there a little squishy but my rear end is now quiet as a church mouse! Only thing I can figure is lowering the car changed the pinion angle for the better?

Sounds like that is what happened. You had too much positive pinion angle before, so lowering it rolled the rear down some in the front and brought your angle into range. Which is a little odd, since it is normally the other way around
