Default S5269 or S5271

Looking at buying front adjustable shocks for my 01 Camaro. Its a street/street car that sees a good bit of street time and ive been looking on bmr website and didn't know what the difference is between the two. Has anyone used either of these shocks?

Hey Anthony, I know we already talked and I got this covered with you, but I want to put it out here for anyone else interested to see as well;
The S5269 and S5271 are identical as far as the shock is concerned. The difference in the 5271 is designed to use a standard 2.5" coil-over spring. It comes with an upper seat for the use of the spring, where as the 5269 does not. You must use a special spring with the correct style upper coil for the factory seat OR you can use a stock style spring with these using our SA001 lower perch. I actually just set someone up with this same combo yesterday of our lowering springs, the lower perch and the Strange S5269's
