Earlier versions were prone to breaking. I don't know if they have revised them or not.

I read a thread awhile ago that said these units were not all that they are cracked up to be.

I had a set on my 87 Mustang (I know, I know it was Ford) they were weird because you left the stock control arm on the car and installed the lakewoods next to it on the axle (pretty much looked like that pic above) they seem to help when launching. But I took them off and installed a set of lift bars and they made a bigger difference. I bought the car with them already on it and they were only on for a few weeks so I couldnt tell you if they would hold up or not.

I had a set in 1999 and I broke the tabs behind the shocks... Car rode stiff and did not 60 ft better.
