Default Shock question

I was told by someone that 79-93 mustang shocks would fit a fourth gen with no modification, (specifically part number s6000em) anyone else have any experience with this?

Never heard that. Are they better than the 4th Gen Camaro shocks?

Based on the picture they might, but I have no idea what spring rate they are meant for or if you could get a front shock with similar damping characteristics. Not to mention the $50-$70 I'm seeing online isn't even that cheap for 4th gen rear shocks. I would stick to something you know will work.
