Default Broken Shock

Looks like a few too many hard launches.. This is the driver front shock. Think it screwed anything else up other than the shock?

Probably not. Just get a new shock and use the new hardware. How the heck did that happen? Maybe the nut on top was cross threaded in a way that caused the threads to fail.

It looks like the nut is still there, the rubber mount just failed. Then, the shock beat the threads to "death". I'd replace the shock and the rubber mount and try again. If you are doing one, you may want to change both front shocks (and check the other mount).

Good luck!
