Default is this a brake problem

When I hit my brakes the car shudders. The steering wheel will shake also. When I am braking from a high speed it is almost violently shaking. I assume that this is bad. What could be causing this?? HELP PLEASE

Sounds like the rotors are warped,,, get new rotors and pads.

Yes it can also be cause by worn front suspension parts, like A-arm bushings, tie rod ends, rack and pinion, ball joints, and wheel bearings. Wheel alignment or bad tires can play a part in it too.

Common f-body warped rotors. When you install the new ones pay particular attention to the torque, better yet if you are using an air impact....use the proper Torq-Stik (torque limiting socket/extension). Too many people just tighten the snot out of the nuts and don't pay attention to any tightening sequence......instant distortion of the rotor/hub.

warped front rotors.

Throw a set of new autozone cheapies on there, and the high speed braking shudder will go away...

Avoid overtorqueing the lug nuts, and avoid drive through car washes when the brakes are hot.

Since you have an A4, another thing to avoid is sitting still holding the brakes after a massive slow-down; slip it into neutral so you can let off. The pads will cool that part of the disc faster than the rest and warp it.
