Line lock switch install from ASR switch
My car does not have ASR and I want to install my link lock where that switch goes. I dont want to use just any other switch and I wanted to use the factory fog light or ASR switch. My question is should I get a ASR switch or a fog light switch? The switches are different I was just wondering what would be the better (or right) one to use if anyone has ever done this. Thanks

I'd use a fog light switch. A member on here, screen name blaSSt has done this. He talks about it in this thread.
If you search I know he's posted about it on other threads. Nice clean install.

Whatever switch you use, it should not be an on/off non momentary switch...especially if you don’t have a master control switch to deactivate the circuit when you’re not using it.

No problem. I'm still trying to decide how/where I want to mount all my switches. Right now my line lock is in the ashtray. I just drilled a hole. I figured if/when I move it, it will be easy and cheap to replace the ashtray.
