anyone use rod end dust seals?

My LG aluminum LCA's came with them, and were installed. They are 3.5 years old now, with LOTS of racing, plus 25k miles, and the aluminum rod ends are starting to make noise. I think they are worth it.

They are basically a rubber like umbrella that sandwiches between the spacer inserted into the rod end, and the spherical bearing itself. They add a little thickness, so the bushing (or mount point ala BFH) need to be adjusted for this.
