anyone use rod end dust seals?

Default anyone use rod end dust seals?

like the title says? summit sells them.

My LG aluminum LCA's came with them, and were installed. They are 3.5 years old now, with LOTS of racing, plus 25k miles, and the aluminum rod ends are starting to make noise. I think they are worth it.

Same here. Theyve added a lot of life to these parts that some consider "track only"

They are basically a rubber like umbrella that sandwiches between the spacer inserted into the rod end, and the spherical bearing itself. They add a little thickness, so the bushing (or mount point ala BFH) need to be adjusted for this.

From my experience, I must say that's quite an amazement, especially since you used the aluminium rod ends and doubled what many here have experienced with the chromoly ones.
