Ok, I'm thinking of lowering......
Help me out here, please.
98 Z with some suspension mods already. I put LT headers on the car and the flanges seem really low, so that concerns me. What is the best setup and how does the car feel after all is said and done? I have no clue, but came to the right place! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Re: Ok, I'm thinking of lowering......
well.. i can make a couple of suggestions...
don't go with any springs that have a progressive rate on the fronts... usually the rates on progressive springs start out pretty low for ride comfort and then stiffen up... what that means, is that your car is going to nose dive more under heavy braking or when you're cruising down a bumpy highway
so just stick with a straight rate front spring so that you can maintain an acceptable ride height in front...
somewhere around 500lb to 600lb springs would be your best bet.. there are quite a few choices for straight rate front springs
G2 Super Springs
Hyperco
Suspension Techniques
Eibach(don't get the sportlines)
you're also going to want to have some good shocks to control those springs...
Koni Sport Single Adjustable

Thanks for the suggestions.
How does the car feel with either of these setups? I guess I want to know if the ride is rougher.....?
As I said, I am concerned with the LT's and the flanges hitting everything. anyone have expierence with this? How low is ok? I would expect to scrape some things, but what is too low?
