Default Are Monroe shocks alrigh to have for a while?

Since I've had this problem with my shocks while trying to install my Hotchkis springs, i'm going to need some new shocks to complete the whole thing. I was wondering if some Monroe shocks would be alright to run on for a while till I get enough money for some Bilstiens? If they are alright, then do I need them to be adjusted to a certain height? Thanks

Isn't this the Handling and Braking section? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

I ran them for a while on my 1989 Formula with Eibach springs and they worked acceptably. They are not exactly race parts, but they work as well as decarbons (and in my opinion...actually better than decarbons). If you are on a budget, they are worth trying for a while. Good luck!

I think i'm just going to buy 2 new decarbons on the front since i found a good deal on them until i can get my hands on some Bilstiens.

Couldn't get the nut off on one of my Decarbons when I was installing springs so I put on Monroes ($85) in the front , guess what they are still there ,No one had a Bilsteins in stock, I'll use them till they are wasted.
