Default no brakes

a friend with a 07 firebird changed his master cylinder and he bleed the brake system thourghly, but still has no brakes. is there a trick we are missing? is there a special procedure for the abs? please help us!!

I'm a goin down to the dealer tomorrow and get me a brand new brakless Firechicken.

When you change a master cylinder you are suppose to bleed it before you put it in the car. Otherwise you may never get all the air out of the system.

Then you bleed it the normal way.

The abs system does not need to be bleed unless it got some air in it, I'm not sure if it would get air in it unless the abs activates when air is present near it.
