Default Brake fluid question?

I just changed my brakes to Slotted/Cross Drilled Rotors & Hawk HPS pads. I want to use DOT 4 fluid. Can I just suck out the resivor with a turkey baster and refill it?

I don't want to drain the system and refill/Bleed.

If you suck the fluid out with a turkey baster and just pour some new stuff in. You have brake lines full of old fluid with a master full of the new stuff. Not to mention I belive theres baffeles in the master that would prevent you from doing so. The brakes should be bled atleast every time you change the pads/rotors.

I might try that. I'll have to read the lable on the can to see if it is compatable with DOT 3 just to be safe.
