Default I've got an Idea!

How about taking the rolling chassis form a C6 Z06 and putting under an 02 F-body? I think the trans axle idea with IRS is bad *** and what a way to make your F-body stand out. Anyone else agree?

I didn't say it would be easy, but I just saw a magazine the other day and they were putting the stuff into an old Nova. It would most likely take a full tube chassis, I like the Idea. You wouldn't have to have an LS7 it could be and LS1 or even us the LSX block or Warhawk. If someone can put a jet engine into a car this can be done. I think I might have to change my sig.

The biggest issue is a Nova and a Corvette have chassis' separate from the bodies. We don't. It's a bit hard to slide a chassis under a car when you can't remove the original one. Well, you can, but it's a lot of cutting--might as well buy just a Corvette.

I think it would be cool also. And it would take a lot of fabrication, but anything can be done. It would also be different than just buying a vette. I had thought of putting the Vette IRS under my 98 TA one time, but other priorities came up.
