Default Strano bars install question

I'm beginning to install my strano front bar and have a question(hopefully its not to dumb of a question). My driver's side endlink I can barely loosen. I can turn it but it goes extremely hard. I have to leave the wrench on the top side against the shock to have enough pressure there so i can just turn the bolt. Is this normal? There seems to be a decent bit of rust and everytime I do turn the bolt it makes a snapping sound almost like i'm gonna break something. The car has just over 60k miles so i'm guessing its just old parts?

Also does it matter if i loosened the bushings first? does that put more pressure on the endlinks then?

hopefully it breaks, then it comes off easier. The strano bar comes with new poly endlinks anyway.

If it's the stock stuff, the end links may break when you loosen them. They broke on me when we loosened them to install my shocks. Don't worry too much, you've got a better replacement to go in.

I twisted all my stock endlinks until they broke and sawed one in half. No big deal. You should get new endlinks anyway.

Next time I attempt to remove stock swaybar endlinks, I will just cut them off instead of wasting my time trying to remove them.

If it breaks that is fine I was just making sure I wasn't doing something wrong because of how hard they were turning. Sounds like I need to just put a little muscle into it.
