Drag Springs?

Drag Springs?
Where can you buy them at, and who makes them? I've been looking around and all I really see is lowering springs.
I'm just guessing here, but I'm sure I'll want at least a 300lb spring rate?
Are V6 springs an option?
Also anybody have experiances w/them driving on city roads..etc?

from what i understand, alot of ppl have gotten good times from v6 springs. they are a cheap alternative to a true drag spring.
as far as ride quality and handling goes, drag setups suck for anything but drag racing.
someone correct me if i'm wrong, this is just what i've gathered from reading on here.

Do you want to lower? I went with Hotchkis springs but any dropping/handling spring will affect drag launches. I love the lowered look but just about any aftermarket spring has higher spring rates. Im thinking of swapping the rears with the stockers and the heater hose mod. Stock springs should help my 60's a tad.

If you drive the car on the street at all I wouldn't do a drag spring. Your car is gonna handle like an old wheat truck. that said, I believe I have seen some eibach ones before...let me go look.
EDIT: dam I can't find em anywhere now.

You run a 275# front rate spring for drag racing, NO it will not drive that bad, when you drive on the street you just run the shock a lot stiffer. I believe it is a 15" spring if you run the 2 1/2" coil over type springs, hal makes them, you can search for them at summit racing.com or jegs.com, I have seen them in there before, if not I know they are listed in wolferacecraft.com
If you also want to run some in the rear the usual rate is 150# in the rear with a 10" 2 1/2 spring and an adjustable mount, thats what I run on mine.
