Default Front alignment specs

Im going to get my car aligned after installing a new set of QA1 shocks. Just wondering if you guys have any specs that work well with drag racing. I have a BMR k member and lower controll arms so i would assume that i can adjust camber and caster somewhat as well as toe.

So does anyone have sugestions for camber caster and toe settings?

Thanks in advance!

Alex, most of the people on this forum deal with handling alignment specs.
What does Dave/Julio suggest?? Are you going to their guy in Garwood, or down by you? If you get no answers/suggestions, maybe try asking La Roccas in E Town. Yes, I know that they are a Fox body oriented place, but they have enough straight line experience that they might be able to suggest something.

You're probably right.

I basically told the guys to make the camber and toe as neutral as possible and make sure the caster is equal so the car has no tenancy for left or right.

I figure with the tires, having very little toe it would give the least amount of rolling resistance. Well see. Car feels great on the highway, very stable and strait.

BTW, not sure who you are? LOL

Run the car with 1/16 - 1/8"" toe in. 0*camber with as much caster as you can get out of it.

Basically same thing I was told from bowman who runs a low 8 sec turbo Camaro.

I'm Marc's brother.

Yes, whatever the case, you want straight line/high speed stability, with the least toe induced drag possible. As much (equal, as you've stated) positive caster as possible, helps this tracking/stability.

car had 6.5Deg of forward caster, the wheels are very close to the front bumper, not a lot more room, almost 0 camber, and about almost 0 tow on each side.
