Coilovers
Any of you guys have a coilover setup? I see a few with Ground Control coilovers, if so, what shocks do you have in there and how is the ride compared to stock?
I know its costly to have a coilover setup which takes bumps with grace yet stiffens as soon as the weight shifts, but I need to explore the options. Plus I may get bored, might as well be able to change the stance almost at will.

I have coil overs, and am getting rid of them when I get a chance (although it may not be for a while). I run the Ground Control setup with 400 lb/in springs up front and revalved Bilsteins, and I used to use the Ground Control adjustable perch in the rear until it came apart on me while trying to adjust it (they have since been replaced with Hotchkis springs). The rears are 3rd gen Bilsteins if I'm not mistaken...
Ride is nice, but the adjustability just wasn't needed. I, too, thought I'd be adjusting them all the time, but it is too much of a PITA to do so. Lots of adjusting, measuring, readjusting, etc. Not worth it to me...
Don't go buying into the whole adjustability part because you think you'll get bored...if you are like me, you'll not want to touch them because it is too much effort for the small benefit.

Also, if you do not corner weight it and re-align the front suspension every time you hit the threaded adjusters for ride height, you could actually go backwards in handling/control!!
I have a GC/Eibach Race Springs (~600#) over Koni double adjustables up front, Koni single adjustables (4th gen.) with the Suspension Spring Specialists (~150#) springs and the GC alloy "weight jackers" on the rear.
The ride is not bad at all considering the "roads" around here, due mostly to the adjustability of the Konis.
That said, IF I could do it all over again, I would just get the same shocks and use Sam's (Vogtland ?? manufactured) springs, and be done with it!! One good performance alignment, and THAT'S IT!!!
