Default What LCA's have the best rod ends?

I know the Unbalanced enginerring and BMR LCA's have QA1 XR series rod ends, the SJM ones have QA1 XM series rod ends, and all UMI says about theirs is they are teflon lined rod QA1's. I couldn't find anything online that showed what the different series of rod ends were. The SJM ones are the most tempting because of the price, but I'm not sure how their rod ends compared to the other ones.

The rod ends we use are QA1's top of the line rod end series.

XM series rod ends are QA1's high-end, Teflon lined male rod-ends. "X" denotes their chromoly series, "M" denotes male,. On the other hand, XF...the "F" means female. (Our rod ends are actually XMR and XML meaning left and right threaded for on-car adjustment)

I don't believe there is a QA1 XR series rod end...at least from what I've viewed; nothing is noted in any spec sheets that I from QA1 have so obviously I cannot comment on performance differences. Maybe they are referring to XMR and just leaving out the "M" denoting male. Lee would have to step in to comment on his notation.

Our online only special for the 4130 QA1 XM series rod-ended panhard rod and lca set w/bolt set at 329.99 is a VERY good deal.

Hope this helps.

Wow, that sounds like a pretty good deal! I've been trying to figure out the differences between SJM, BMR, Madman, etc. Are the rod ends the only significant difference? Or are there other differences as well?

I'm pretty sure there are some other rod ends that are high quality that aren't qa1's... there are a few other company's that make them that have basically the same thing chromoly with the teflon.... some of the load rate on them are around 25,000 lbs... so that being said qa1 probably just has the biggest name...

I have XMRs on the LCAs I built for my car. No problems yet. My Spohn PHB has them as well, and it's been on there a long while. Something like 20k miles, I think.
