Default pinion angle when lowered?

i hear it is common to run a pinion angle between -1 and -3. however, i am now putting on some strano springs so the car will be lowered. i know the setup of the car may affect it as well. i am running nitto drag radials and it is a street car. what should i set the pinion angle at for my needs?

You want to keep it -2 to -3 at the most.

is there any reason to run it less negative? in other words, is there any reason to run it at only -1 or -1.5?
