New BMR suspension setup, custom work w/pics.
Ok so i got my car back from the shop yesterday and was pretty happy. My guy said he is happy i went with BMR and that they always make quality producs.
Having said that, the setup i went with was the BMR track pack (Shortened fully ajustable Tq arm with the cross bar), and the BMR double ajustable chromoly lower control arm's with the weld in Relocation brackets. I had already been given a SPOHN Panhard rod and SPOHN Subframe connectors with the car and the antiroll/drag bar which i belive is SPOHN as well.
My chassis guy decided to ditch some instructions and fabricate his own things. He fabricated the driveshaft loop with supports outof chromoly, big enough for my 4" driveshaft and exaust. He also custom bent the crossbar given to me from BMR at the ends and welded directly into the Sub frame connectors rather than welding a tab to the sub's and the bar to the tabs. He notched out the floor when nessesary to tuck everything up real close so it wouldnt hang down too much, and would certainly clear my Y-pipe. He somehow matched the color of the red that I got from BMR, and painted the DS loop and all of the welds. He painted the relocation brackets Black.
I also had him set the pinion angle at 2 degrees (or -2 degree's i forget).
To go along with this I have the single ajustable QA1's in all 4 corners, with 300 LB front springs (not on car in pictures). I hope this setup works as it costed me a pretty penny, but im fairly confident it will. Let me know what you think..
