Default Windshield replacement in Houston

I know there are some threads here about this, but I am looking for a little different than most of those.

I need to get the windshield and back glass on my DD (07 GP GXP w/heads up display) re-placed. I am not looking for the cheapest price. I want a quality piece of glass and a quality install. I am willing to get an OEM windshield and pay for install if need be. I am not trying to spend a fortune, but have been down the road of cheap glass and/or sub par installs on previous cars and the headache is not worth the savings.

Any suggestions? Even if its a place to avoid, that is useful feedback.

If you're getting the bigger brand glass, you'll be fine. The biggest thing is that they use the OEM windshield gaskets.

Made some calls last week. Uni Glass won't/can't get anything other than Chinese glass.

Safelite was a pita and their glass costs significantly more than me just walking up to the dealer counter and buying it.

I am still on the hunt. I am not beyond just buying the glass at the dealer and paying a quality installer to put it in if anyone knows of a good shop to do the install.

It seems a few places I used in the past have closed or been bought by likes of Safelite. Probably to reduce competition.

Wayne has worked on multiple vehicles for me. Most recently F150 using Ford glass etc. Good shop. Bear in mind, it may be harder to find 07 GXP OEM glass than 2013 F150, but its worth a call
