Default Broken Arm Xray

I just got these from the Dr. Check out my left arm that I broke recently and the hardware now in it....my bionic arm...lol. Broke the humerus (bone coming down from shoulder), shattered the elbow, and broke the Ulna (inside bone going from hand to elbow).

Doc said it was the worst break he had ever seen to an arm.

Nice huh?

Nice! If I still had the x-ray of my ankle (shattered it a few years back) I would post it up for you; all sorts of titanium...

I have a number of colorful stories that are tasteful lies....one is based on me running with the bulls in Mexico, another in a hang gliding accident, and even another participating in MMA throwing a mean elbow...Man, I have played minor league pro ball, been active in the field from a military standpoint and many other things...never broken a bone until now.

Fact is...gonna get crucified here but was coerced to put on a pair of skates with my 5 yr old Daughter and did ok for a while...but had this little red headed brat *** kid skating circles around me and my competitive nature kicked in. Tried to outdo him ending up losing my balance, fighting the fall backwards inevitably falling squarely on my elbow. Go Figure!

My Daughter told me since that she fell twice and did not break any bones, and she was stronger than me...go ahead and add insult to injury...geez!

Way to go!

I bought a dirtbike a year ago. Before that I'd never broken a bone. I've since broken my arm and ankle on separate occasions .

Broken arm or wrist on 3 seperate occasions but the last time I did it while rollerblading. Basically did the same thing. fell backwards but my arm landed across a curb and then I landed on my arm and snapped it over the curb. Like yours to add insult to injury I wasn't doing anything that took skill. Just lost my balance.

Fome most i have spoken to...that seems to be the case. Happened at the most obscure times...oh well, 6 months of brutal physical therapy and will be good as new..hopefully.

My cousin is an orthopedic surgeon, and she gets a huge grin on her face when she talks about her tools. Most doctors buy their equipment from medical suppliers. She gets a lot of her stuff from Home Depot.

That looks almost exactly the same as mine. Broke on a rope swing going out into a lake. Hit my ankle on a root going sideways.

Broke the Fibula, and the talus in 2 different locations, shredded the ligament in between the tibia and fibula, tore cartiledge in the joint, and tore a tendon, as well as dislocating my ankle.

Have a plate, 5 screws, a piece of wire, and 8 strands of what was described to me as like shark fishing line wrapping around the tibia and fibula that help support the ligament that can each support 500 lbs.

Here's 2 screws that were removed after the 3rd surgery, 4 total surgeries.

lmao

Competitiveness is a f'n curse from hell sometimes.

Hope that heals up nicely, tell the doc you could really use large amounts of HGH and test to help with recovery

BTW Where and when did you play minor league ball?
