Default Lookin for a new truck.. need suggestions

Basically i want a midsize suv, maybe a tahoe ('99ish 2door pref), but not a 'burban or anything too big. i was looking at trailblazers but it's so hard to find one w/ the 5.3. the 4.2 looks good on paper but has anyone driven one?

what else could i look at?

i prefer 2wd but i wouldnt mind a 4wd, i just wouldnt hardly ever use it.

TRUCK FOUND:

'91 silverado 61k original miles, carfax verified
350 w/ 5speed man

i cant afford the tbss lol that's why i'm thinking i might try to get a tb w/ the 5.3. i'm really just curious about the I6 though, it looks like it puts out good numbers all around. i would get a tahoe but i dont need a truck that big, i dont haul anything really, so the extra weight turns into just wasted fuel.

Check TBSSowners.com for sale threads... many are cheaper than you think and several are in the DFW area.

What are you looking to spend?

By looking at his choices, I would say $10K +/- something. Doubt there are any TBSS's in that range.

Cool. You don't see many of those around these days. V8? 305 or 350?

Post some pics.
