Default San Marcos Guys: NEED HELP

I have a friend that's in San Marcos at school and she needs a good mechanic to work on her car. She drives a V6 Firebird and needs someone to check her SES light without trying to empty her wallet. SI didn't know until just now, but she went to a mechanic to get her light checked and they're charging her $126 to replace her serpentine belt and four light bulbs. If anyone would be willing to do future job for her or send her to a more reasonable place please let me know.

Thanks.

Well, since no one else replied, I will. Have her take the car to autozone. They will scan it for free. Post whatever code(s) she is getting and post them here. We'll take it from there. I'd scan it myself, but am in Houston area.
Oh, by the way, will need to know year of the car as well.

If I was in town, I could change it for her. NOT that hard to do a belt swap and light change out.

The big question is.... is she good looking?

She's my boss' daughter, and she's a pretty good looking girl. Not that you'll get anything out of doing it, but you never know. Unfortunately, she went ahead and got the job done somewhere in SM and got screwed. It was done right, but way overpriced. Can anyone suggest some places she can take her car from now on?
