Default Transmission shops

I am looking for reputable transmission shop to upgrade my trans in west texas. if not then ill consider dfw area or southeast texas. Its a a4 for my silverado ss awd.

Not sure if they're still a sponsor? ACE Racing Transmissions in North Richland Hills (DFW.) Gilbert is a stand up guy and does great work.

I've heard good things about Phoenix Transmissions in Weatherford but that's not very close to west Texas.

My friend had one built there and its a really nice unit living behind a sprayed 6.0 in a truck. Came with a nice warranty even after he told them it would be seeing a 200+ shot. They also rebuilt his Yank converter with Yank parts... From what Ive seen so far you cant go wrong with these guys. Expect to spend $3K.

i'm in sam angelo, texas
it isnt really west its like west central lol

i heard there is a shop in the DFW area that builds there trannys up to FLT's specs but for a whole lot cheaper

Several of us , as witnessed by the 2 threads that got deleted, have been shafted by a local sonsor. So you can't always go by that.

From what i understand he went in with a chasis shop and the quality of the tranny work went to ****, stay away from there.
