Default Please help! 3-4 clutches are dead! Any good shops in Austin?

I just drove home in second gear..... 3rd just slips... I'm fairly new to the Austin area, so do you guys have any thoughts on where I should go to get the Z's tranny back in order? This is my DD and although I'd love to - I don't have the time to order a tranny or the space to yank it out myself to replace\rebuild it.

I appreciate any suggestions you can provide!

Thanks!
DW

Edit: Wait, I think I misunderstood. I thought the title said you have fried 3 or 4 clutches.

Any thoughts?

Fastest thing to do and cheapest will probably be to just pull the old tranny and find a used one in a junk yard and put that in.

It might be fast and cheap, but you never know what you getting. Have you trans gone through and put in kevlar band , zpack and a beast sunshell. Would be a good time for a converter too, if you haven't already done so. Post up on austinfbody, someone there can refer you to a reputable place. If not I know a guy in North san antonio that is very reasonable, and the trans he built held up to a 408 in my 5000lb truck with a 3600 stall and I beat on it daily.
