Im in the process of putting a LQ9 in a c4. Going carburated.
Speed Hound KWiK performance and Vetteworks got headers, mount plates, and KWik has the ac bracket stuff if you want to keep the original truck crank pulley and what not.
You need LS1 vette accessories if you do not go the KWiK rout i belive.
F Body oil pan
and some small block chevy motor mounts to bolt to the swap plates.
Got the edelbrock manifold ready for the motor. Just need a few small things, and saving for a cam swap before put the motor in.

Decided I would register so the 1 night a week I'm at my own house I could poke around in here.
We got the motor and trans out, and sold off. Next few days will be cleaning in the engine compartment and under the car. Got some parts on order, mostly the new mount plates I will need to stuff the vortec into the C4. Lots of wiring, tucking, scrubbing, and painting to come. We'll get some pics up in the day tomorrow, although I'm sure it's nothing everyone hasn't seen before, just an empty Corvette, lol

I still need a f body oil pan, the acessory brackets, a carb and the msd box. Id like to put a cam and do the stall converter before i drop it in to keep from having to do it more than once.

Sorry for long delay, figured it was time for a quick update to let ya'll know how things are going here!
Picked up a bare block and crank from VesperTA (thanks!) and started dry assembly. Went junkyard hunting today for some covers, water pump, and some miscellaneous hardware that we could find. We had a set of lifters layin' around, so they are sitting in block. Also had a cam, so that's in. This is all stock stuff for now BTW. Also got a steal of a deal on a set of coils/brackets from an F-body, so the parts are starting to pile up in the garage.
Things needed at this point so we can start to actually build:
ARP Head stud set (I guess not a necessity, but would be nice if/when we have to tear back into it)
Timing Chain
Gaskets
The days to follow will be filled with cleaning and assembly, so plenty of opportunities for some pics. Thanks for all the replies and PM's, keep 'em coming!
