I need to have a block machined with the plate the hone ext. maybe clearenced for 383 but I'm not shure who to trust or as a fact know were any are except lme but there talkin 900 bucks that seems steep anybody got a shop I can check out some were to the northern side of h-town?

They are not in Houston but only about a hour away, I use Arrow Machine in Brenham. They can easily handle that. PM if you want there number or if you can't find it.

We aren't on the north side but if you only wanted the block honed with a torque plate and clearanced it would be around 250.00. If you wanted other stuff or assembly of course it gets higher so LME may have quoted you a whole build which would be more of course.
