Fridays at The Texas Mile? Dead? We went on Saturday this spring and needless to say, it was packed full. We are thinking about going on Friday this time. How crowded is it on Fridays? I don't want to get down there only to learn most of the racers (heavy-hitters) come out on Saturday/Sunday.

The really big hitters will be there all 4 days (registration and tech on Thursday). Any veteran of the Mile will tell you that Friday is the best day to sort things out and test things since the field will be less jammed and they'll get lots more runs in. So if someone travels more than 6 hours to get there, they'll most likely be there for all 3 run days. You'll be surprised how many out of state guys will be racing this year.
