i have bad news for you buddy, ive been in veterinary medicine for several years and no vet is going to want to crop ears on a dog that old. 12 weeks is typically the cut off. after 12 weeks is when the cartilidge begins to harden and the procedure becomes very bloddy and painful. sorry bud.

If I was you i would take my dog to someone that knows what he/she is doing.
I rescued this Blue fawn from a guy my buddy knew and gave her to my mom. The guy had litter puppies and most of them died and the rest were almost dead. I got her when she was 4 weeks old, but they had already clipped her ears. They didn't do it right so she looked like little water buffalo.
This is her at about 4 months old. She about 8 months old now and she's about 50lbs.

My pitbull is only around 50lbs, he is pure. I really don't know how you guys have such big pitbulls, I mean i guess all the big ones bread together? Is it healthy for them to be bread like that? Or you guys feeding them with those supplements....?
This is mine, ears are not clipped, we adopted him and don't know what he has been through but he is amazing and wouldn't hurt a fly.

It depends on the dogs pedigree and bloodline. People breeddogs based in tempermant looks drive and size. Depending on how your dog was bred is how your dog turns out. Looks like your dog might have game bloodline due its size.

I got money on the fat *** gray cat at my house (the HUGE one)! I've never seen anything that big move so quickly when it's scared LOL! But of course since Nitro is named the way he is, I'm going to need at least 3 (MAYBE 4) and the move (which will be the Canned Air bottle turned upside down to get him running)!

If it helps (not a pit), I had my Dobermans ears cropped as a pup. Dobermans are a little harder b/c the ears are taller. Cost me about 400 bucks, which included bloodwork, plus they put him under while they did the crop and gave me all the meds and pain killers. Vet was actually happy b/c I just told him to crop them how he felt. He has done pit's, dobermans, boxers, and great danes, some of which were show dogs. You might give him a call and see if he knows anyone in your area. It's Dr. Sutton at Hometown Vet Clinic in Pfluggerville.
Fyi, to prevent infection I replaced the sutras every week while the vet checked for infections and so on. So it does take care until they heal properly.
Basically, he had antlers for about 2 months and they turned out great. Now he's 100 lbs. and has a mid to show crop.

All are great looking dogs guys and gals, I have decided not to clip his ears. Spoke with a vet in Houston and he said the only crop style I could possibly go with would be the fight crop which I do not like so my red nose little man will have floppy ears lol. Next pitbull I wil be purchasing will be a tri color razors edge massive bully.
