G-Force TX Mile Results!
We only made 4 runs all weekend. It was packed. The first we had to run 180mph or less.
Run 1 shake down pass. 191 mph @ the 1/2 mile marker then coasted.
Run 2 232 mph with power taken out of the tune up.
Run 3 240.5 mph This was on full power (1580 HP)
Run 4 we knew we needed more power and added nitrous kit in pits! The car was flying and something in the motor let go around the 3/4 mile marker. I can say there was no smoke and no oil and the plugs looked clean and the straps had nice sharp edges. But we had a nice quarter size hole in the oil pan. I will know more this week.
The mile is insane. Having a car in high gear for 13-14 seconds is so hard on parts. We will be back in March with alot of body changes to help with the aerodynamics of the car. We had some downforce issues above 230 mph.
Thanks to all that helped it was a long weekend!
Congrads to Josh and the gang at LMR 245mph is no joke.2200hp! Sucks that you guys had motor issues too. See yall in march. cup car vs cup car...lol

We went 240.5mph on the third pass with brand new car and setup! We changed the gears, shocks and springs on every pass. We were getting some great data. Learned a lot about the car. Like I said wait til the next Mile....
Hats off to Greg Davidson. You are a driving SOB. 240mph with a open window! On our 240.mph pass he didnt even pull the chute! Id also like to thank Gregs crew. We had 2 crews that had been racing with the Davidson family for 20 years. These guys were amazing and busted there *** all weekend! Gotta give a big thanks to G-Force's Jay and Greg for changing the plugs every pass, keeping the Procharger's boost cold as hell and the worlds fastest nitrous install! (10mins!) It was so cool to see Drag racing horsepower and technology combined with Superspeedway Racing suspension, shocks springs caster camber ect. I think im addicted to the mile!

This has to be one of the fastest ever runs for a first time entrant. Congratulations. The Mile is no joke. The more you go, the more you learn.
