The sick red vette is now blue and is owned by another member here.

i think if i had a vette i would be unable to sell it. it would just be too nice.

I would highly disagree, and have both sitting here to compare. The Z06 is a great car, but the Viper is a better built car that can handle much more power in stock form. Put both vehicles on lifts side by side and you'll see that Corvette drivetrain looks pretty weak compared to the Viper setup. The only edge the Corvette has is slightly better interior (not seats!) and more electronic gizmos.

The only comparison I have is a 97GTS (thought it was terrible) or a 2004 thirdgen versus a 2006 Z06. Of course none of them are mine but I felt more comfortable in the Z. Might be because I'm 6 foot and 250 lbs.

GTS is cool looking, but I agree that a C6Z is better than those. SRT10 coupes however, are much better than the original GTS cars. I still wouldn't mind having a GTS too, just because of how iconic they are. Destined to become collectibles too.
