"NEW" Houston F-Bodies Club!
Hello everyone...some of you may remember previous threads both on Firebird Nation and ThirdGen.org about monthly meets at Pappa's Burgers that have been taking place since November 2011.
I'm happy to annouce that the success of those meetings has spawned the rebirth of Houston F-Bodies. This club has been in existence for quite some time, but a while back, became dormant. But the increase in attendance at the monthly meets at Pappa's Burger on Westheimer Road has provided the desire and enthusiasm to become an official club with a real identity.
As always, this club is open to ANY year Firebird, Trans Am, or Camaro. Meets have always been (and will continue to be) every third Saturday of the month in the back parking lot of Pappa's from 2pm - 5pm.
There are many other exciting events on the horizon, including a meet/Kemah cruise on February 25, a possible photo shoot, and many others for March!

Man, I remember you guys from back in the day, was never a memeber but it's nice to see that there is still a strong support for Fbodies.
On a separate note, got a friend who will be buying an Fbody in about 2 months, can he join or does he need to get his fbody first?

I doubt ownership of an Fcar is required, the old club we had people come out with other stuff, this was before they bought their first F-bodies. I'll show up Saturday but in my C6.
H.A.L.O would crack that *** at CCB, those Lightnings ran really consistent. I miss the dyno days, that was a cool scene back then. The whole 4th gen owner demo graphics were a lot different. When I bought and sold parts, the people were always pretty cool and decent people now it's kind of a crap shoot.

Hiram, F-Body ownership is not required. Our only request is that non F-Body cars stay clear of the F-Body lineup when we take pictures. Just tell your friend not to show up in a Mustang!! LOL
Thanks for posting the address for Pappa's Burger. Anyone who hasn't signed up for our boards should go to http://www.houston-f-body.org/ and sign up.
As far as our demographics go, we're pretty diverse, but we're all there to hang out, talk about our cars, and have fun. There's a real positive energy going around as our membership increases. It's a very relaxed atmosphere.
Come on down and check us out!
