SINISTER build (update 2/8/13)
#125
A little update. Stopped by the shop today.
Engine bay is complete other than cut and buff, and prep is going on the rest of the car. Fenders were prepped/ painted also. Sneak peak on the color.
Not completely in the sun, but the sun gun shows the flake pretty good. Should look killer in the sun.

well, those wheels in black made up my mind.
Ordered those in 18's so I can fit the 2nd gen CTSV brakes up front.
Car will be stupid clean, I'd hate to have to detail it though haha.

I originally was going to do the 2nd gen v brakes but found these brakes almost local from a tech member I've bought from and sold to many times so I jumped on these. Also, don't the gen 2 calipers use paddlets?

Car is looking sweet man! One of the nicest fbodys I've seen. Saw it before you got everything painted now it just looks killer! I'm the guy who bought your c5s my project is finally running but definitely not as clean as yours! I'm loving the wheels man

Thanks man!
Got a couple of parts from MWC.
Ordered front and rear bumper supports as well as their true subframe connectors. I decided to ditch the UMI 3pts in favor to of these as I have plans to try and flat bottom the car in the future, and using these will make a much flatter and easier platform to start with.

Just stumbled upon this...unfortunately I'm about to tear mine back apart anyway. I think I'm gonna have to repaint my entire engine bay now. lol, your build is amazing man. Can't wait to see it assembled already.
