Drive at night. It's a lot cooler and easy on your eyes and your vehicle. Make sure your headlights are very bright. Cash won't do you much good at night driving because most of the little gas stations will be closed inside. But most of the pumps accept cards. Start looking for gas at a half tank and always fill up. Personal protection, you never know.
