we already have 'black boxes' in our cars... and there are plenty more government mandated 'safety' features that are making cars more an more expensive (TPMS, TCS, ASC, and proposed for 2014: backup cameras)... in an era of 54mpg CAFE mandates, its not shocking to me that they are proposing **** like this.

This is where money talks and bullshit walks. As enthusiasts we would be able to give this absurdity the ax by not buying another new car,period, until it is squashed. The unfortunate truth though, is we will just blame the government and carry on as people do. We as Americans, need to realize we are the government, but if we don't pull together and exercise this right, we lose it.

I'm supprized that dont have a way to read your cars computer at a shop and tell you have been speeding. Then issue you a citation for it.
Date of and time of speed, GPS location of area speed limit, BAMM! Ticket!!
