Default Clear Bra/Mask in DFW

anyone in the area good at putting the clear Bra/Mask on? I found the pre-cut kits but I'm not real confident to do it myself on the bumper..

ive been curious about this as well. Trans Am bumpers appear to be rock chip magnets. Have you done much research into these to know how obvious they are and do they get hazy/yellow?

My buddy that used to install these told me it depends on what material is used. Good quality material is warrantied not to yellow and won't. It's one of those, you get what you pay for deals.

from what I've read and been told, the 3m material is the way to go as it won't turn yellow or haze, and it's warrantied from 3M, the bumper kit for a C5 is $165 just for the bumper, and another $135 for the hood portion, and $140 for the rockers...that's from invisible mask..

would imagine it wouldn't be worse, but then again, I'm no expert with it, just been reading on which material is better to use and of better quality

the 3m material sucks. I install this stuff for a living and on the kits for teh trans am doesnt cover much of the bumper just the impact areas. If you put it on the rear part of the bumper its not going to stick as much but it will stick.

Currently have it on my 10' SS. Covers the front bumper, mirrors, and a portion of the hood. You can barley tell its there until you're really close to the car. The orange peal is very similar to a factory paint job. Although I'm wondering what the difference will look like once the car is clay barred. Recently I took a road trip to VA and had a 18 wheeler in front of me pull off to shoulder and kick up tons of rocks. Later when I stop for gas I checked for damage and was amazed no paint chips to the material.

I'm about to order the Hood Section for mine, since the Front bumper needs to be re-painted before some protection needs to be applied

BadCompany has a guy that does them, and from what I gathered, a lot of Tint places and some Body shops do them, and of course the good old Dealerships
