just curious, but could this be done on a C5? change the "Corvette By Chevrolet" start up text.

Not with this cable and program, this is a Holden Monaro/Pontiac GTO specific mod to our cluster. You might be able to program your C5 cluster in a similar way, but it would take a good amount of programming knowledge and time. It took many, many, many hours of time on LS1 GTO figuring out the cable and programming to get to this point and we're very lucky this is an open source program. There are other 'advanced' features still not completely hashed out that could brick a cluster, but these will work safely.

I made the initial investment on the cable and figured I'd try to help out other GTO owners. It's annoying having the little clear dot on the cluster that doesn't do anything.
