Default Question about a ford engine head gasket...

Heres a ford question for you guys... I did the head gaskets on an f150 with 4.2 v6. Yesterday I started it all up for the first time and it was all good except for a leaking thermostat gasket. So i fixed that and let it sit over night.
This morning i add water and start it up and right away i get water in oil. So i have two theories, one, the intake manifold is leaking into the oil valley because i jad to drill out one of the bolts and couldnt find a replacement to put back in. So it has a missing bolt in the center.
Or two, a bad head gasket because i didnt follow the torque sequence and instead of tightening to the recommended 36 lb ft i did 65. What do you guys think?
Im freaking pissed that i have to tear it apart again! Oh and when i started it up yesterday and today it never got hot so its not from over heating...

Can the lower intake gaskets be installed wrong?

i would bet its because you didn't torque the head bolts in the right sequence or the right spec. Or the block/head is cracked which was the problem in the first place.

I hope you are right. I was thinking I could find a bolt to put in and try again.

heads are fresh from shop so those are ok. Ok the block is toast that would really be bad... how can I check for it once I get the heads back off? The gaskets are MLS which is apparently extremely sensitive to any debris getting in there and when I was installing the head bolts I got a little water out of the holes which probably had dirt in it. could that be it?

Are the head bolts new? Torqe specs could be off if you are reusing the old ones.
